Living on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand, much of my work derives from the inspiration of the natural world and ever changing light that surrounds me. The discipline, thought processes involved and methodical nature of hand embroidery inspires me, calms me and allows me to capture natures beauty.
I am interested in exploring traditional techniques, and applying them in new ways. Subject matter and material choice, and the multiple meanings and questions which may arise due to these decisions fascinate me.
Please look around, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
Like any embroiderer I have multiple projects on the go, many unfinished objects, and a to-do list that grows faster than I can stitch, so items will be added to the website as I complete them.
Thanks for visiting 🙂
